The conference will be held in the Marmara Hotel, Taksim Square, Istanbul where we have a room block. We have also booked rooms in two other hotels, with lower room rates, that are within 5-10 minutes walk of the Marmara.
As from July 15th all rooms at our preferential rate in our room block at the Marmara are taken. Rooms are still available at the Grand Oztanik and the Cartoon Hotel.

The Elite World Hotel is another 5* hotel close to the Marmara but you would have to book directly with them. http://eng.eliteworldhotel.com/
In order to get the lowest possible rate for rooms in the Grand Oztanik and the Cartoon Hotel, the bookings will go through the Association for Liberal Thinking (co-organizer of the meeting). You may book accommodation when you register, or afterwards through a separate form on this website.
Before September 1st it will be possible to book accommodation with the payment of a one night deposit BUT after September 1st full payment for the accommodation is required in order to keep or make a reservation. The deposit will be refundable until September 1, 2011 after which there will be no refunds for cancellation.
If you have booked rooms through this web site and received email confirmation you do not need to contact the hotel and all queries should come through one of the email addresses below.

Hotel room rates for our reserved blocks are per night and include breakfast and all taxes at a current rate of 8%. If taxes are raised these will have to be reflected in the room rates.
